One of the oldest Georgian grape varieties, Krakhuna is indigenous to the Imereti region in Western Georgia. A white grape variety it has intense flavours of bananas, apricots, tropical fruits and honey, with a slight mineral finish. It is often blended with other varieties such as Tsitska and Tsolikouri.
