These two wines deliver a taste that is a combination of traditional Georgian and modern European vinifications techniques. Georgian grapes with a modern twist.
Saperavi: This is a contemporary wine using one of Georgia’s best-known grapes, Saperavi. This wine has a deep, shining ruby red colour and strong, well-expressed cherry, black mulberry and soft oak overtones. Its soft and velvety tannins create a balanced, smooth and long-lasting finish. Enjoy with grilled or fried meats, and spicy stewed dishes.
Mtsvane: This is a modern-style qvevri amber wine. It has tones of tropical fruits and quince whilst offering a unique sweet and extended finish. This is a perfect appetiser for those who are venturing into amber wines for the first time – but there is also enough complexity and character for the more experienced wine drinker to appreciate.
